Make a Request!

Next week, we will be starting a new series that I am excited to jump into! However, this week I wanted to take a moment and remind the readers that we take requests and questions. Paul stood by this theme of making sure other believers had the information they needed, and we want to do the same. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” God’s Word should be our foundation in everything we do, 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” For us here at Mill House Ministries, we are actively ready to help answer your questions. As you study God’s Word, allow us to be there to help! Many believers are isolated and not around others to sharpen each other, and we want to help bridge the gap. Nothing is better than being in connection with other believers physically, however there might be moments when this is harder to do. So with that said, please do not hesitate to reach out to us on our contact page.

A question for the audience for you to contemplate for yourself.

Who do you go to when you have Bible questions? And how do you approach the “I don’t know” when you read God’s Word?

I am intentionally leaving this open without an answer on what I believe you should do. I would encourage you to ask the Lord to provide the answer. Hint, read Proverbs 15:29, Psalm 17:6, Jeremiah 17:7, Psalm 4:3, Psalm 10:3. I hope these help encourage you on who you can ultimately go to for help. However, just in case you are wondering if God, who is our Teacher, cares about you, read Psalm 139 and see how much He cares for you. Before you were even knitted in the womb, He knew you. This is a God who cares, this is a God who listens and wants to help you understand His word. This is why Mill House is here: we want to be a useful tool in that arsenal.
