Happy Fall!

It is fall, and what does that mean?

The schedule is about to get busier, and the demands of life are going to get more frequent. Nevertheless, do not allow this season to be a time of activities with no time for the Lord. Start this season off right by asking the Lord to reveal what He is trying to tell you. Let this fall be a season of action, but of one directed by the Lord. Proverbs 22:17-19 “Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge; 18 For [it is] a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips, 19 So that your trust may be in the LORD; I have instructed you today, even you.” God provided the seasons for specific reasons, Genesis 1:14 “Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.” God designed the changing of the seasons as a way to help us get out of our rut and refocus on the Lord. Many times we see Genesis 1:14 as either scientific or prophetic, but it is also designed for the simple way of God trying to wake us up from a routine. I know this fall for myself, will be one I am eager to see what the Lord teaches me. I hope you are also leaning in and listening. Once again, happy Fall!
