Prayer Warriors! We once again come to you!
The last time we came to this topic, several elections were coming up. However, only one nation now has elections we need to talk about. This is the United States of America. Today, we are asking all born-again believers to pray first! No matter where you are in the world, please pray for the U.S. and that we align ourselves to the Word of God. Secondly, pray for the U.S. citizens and their will to vote Biblically. If Christians voted, and voted Biblically, this nation would be much different. We need to stand firm on the Word of God in all aspects of our life.
American Christians, we are called to be the Salt and the Light. Jesus said in Matthew 5:13-16, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all [who are] in the house. 16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” In the book of 2 Thessalonians, we see that the Christians are identified as the resistance against the spirit of Antichrist that is already at work. 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 “And indeed you know that he will be restrained by us for now, so that he will be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of the lawless one began to appear long ago. His work has ceased. We, the restrainer, will continue to restrain until the Highway is taken from the midst. 8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, who, will be killed by the Lord Jesus with the breath of His lips and will be destroyed by the light from His face.” The Church is called to be known by our actions.
Last time we discussed how elections have consequences; for Christians, elections are our chance to help the world see Jesus. No matter what, the Lord is in control, but we need to do our part. Keep fighting the good fight, pray, and vote!
